The Inland Revenue is providing a financial incentitive to encourage employers, with less than 50 employees, to use a new system for filing their end of year returns (P35 and P14P).
PAYROLL SERVICES
To qualify for the incentitive, employers must send their returns via The Internet Service for PAYE, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or use an intermediary such as Wildman, Essam & Co Ltd.
The incentive runs for five years from 2004/05 to 2008/09. And to take maximum advantage of the incentive, you must start using the new scheme now.
Rewards are split over the five years...
- £250 for 2004/05
- £250 for 2005/06
- £150 for 2006/07
- £100 for 2007/08
- £75 for 2008/09
